Take Home Some Art

Learn all the basics techniques in ceramics and getting familiar working with clay. This beginners' course covers 4 basic techniques in ceramics – Pinching Coiling, Slab building and Glazing.

After completing this course, and if you are still keen to improve your foundational skills and techniques in ceramics, you are welcome to continue with the intermediate course (focusing on one of the above techniques) with hands-on guidance before you progress to YellowSpiders Pottery advance courses.


Surprise the Senses

We offer wheel throwing classes for all skill levels from beginner/novice to intermediate for ages 14 and up. We provide attentive hands-on wheel throwing instruction that we are able to personalize to your experience because of our very small group class sizes with a 2 to 1 maximum student-teacher ratio. Open wheel rental sessions are available for those already skilled in throwing on a potter’s wheel.


Your New Masterpiece

FOR EXISTING YellowSpiders Pottery Students aspiring potters with the knowledge of basics : We recommend our regular students who can independently throw/coil/slab a straight symmetrical cylinder to progress to the Advance classes.

Advanced Classes are for students who have a good grasp in their foundation – be it handbuilding or throwing on the wheel – and still keen to continue learning more advance techniques and create more complex works. We recommend these classes to all our students who are ready for more in-depth learning outcomes. There will be an optional syllabus for every 4 weeks or students can just work on their technique or their own projects but with hands-on and focused teaching from us.
