This course is for makers ready to level up. Beyond Basics helps you refine your core skills and build more intentional, sculptural, or functional pieces. With guidance, you'll develop a personal clay project that reflects your growing style and ideas. Perfect for those who’ve taken a beginner course and want to go deeper into structure, creativity, and craft.

What You'll Learn

  • Advanced pinch, coil and slab techniques

  •  Combining handbuilding methods into one cohesive project Sculptural/functional forms such as jars, trays and planters 

  • Refining and smoothing techniques Project planning & personal expression through clay 

  • Glazing and preparation for firing ceramic

Course Details

Days: Monday to Thursday & Saturday 

Timings: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM or 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Fees : ₹18,500

Duration : 10 sessions

Q: Who is this course for?
This course is perfect for those who’ve completed a beginner handbuilding class and are ready to dive deeper. If you're excited to refine your skills and bring a more ambitious idea to life — this one's for you.

Q: What will I be making?
You’ll be working on a cohesive personal project — like a planter set, sculptural piece, or functional tableware — with guidance every step of the way.

Q: Do I need to bring anything?
Not at all. We provide 5 kg of clay, access to all studio tools and materials, and cozy guidance. Just bring your hands and imagination.

Q: Are glazing and firing included?
Yes! Your course includes glazing and two kiln firings for your finished pieces — all taken care of at the studio.

Q: How flexible are the timings?
We offer weekday and Saturday slots, so you can pick a schedule that works best for you. Once you begin, studio access is available during your chosen session hours.
